We had a great weekend with family in town to celebrate Grayson’s baptism. Amy, Aaron’s sister, and Evan, my brother, are the god parents. It was a beautiful mass, and a beautiful day. look at my cute owl shoes! This was Aaron’s baptism gown. so sweet.
Splashing in the Rogue
On our way home from Portland last week, we stopped for lunch and a swim break at the Rogue River. We found a little park with water access, when it wasn’t rushing too hard and wasn’t too cold. First Aaron & Grayson just went into their knees to check out the water and watch some fish swim around. But the water felt great so they decided to go in.
Walking! Walking! Walking! That’s all we do these days. Which is pretty exciting because he is just so proud of himself as he is able to walk further and further distances. It’s just that this is where the trouble begins (again). This morning he was pulling all of daddy’s folded sweaters out of the dresser cabinet :) Let the games begin!!
It’s so hard to leave this kiddo for a show, but it’s my last show of the summer. I’ll be in Madison at the Art Fair on the Square this weekend, Booth #534. It’s been one of my best shows for the last few years, so it’s worth all the hard work. Grayson even exhibited with me last year when he was just 5 weeks old! That was a crazy idea!! He’s not letting me...
Happy camper, until he realized he can’t have my phone (oh…and he’s in the pack-n-play b/c there’s too much dangerous stuff in my work studio, he can’t just crawl around)
Now that Grayson is one, many of his friends are also turning one, which means I’m eating cupcakes every weekend. I feel like I am an official member of the ‘No Cupcake Left Behind’ club!!! (I ate most of the leftover cupcakes from G’s party)
It’s amazing to look back on photos and videos and see how much Grayson has grown and changed!!! Before Tumblr, we had a blog. It was mainly written and updated by my husband. I was quite blog-illiterate at that point. Since I’m sooo delayed on getting up photos from his first birthday, I’ll give you this link to look back on the early days, and one photo from his party so...
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning!
Hi All, This is a reminder to install or check your carbon monoxide alarms. Make sure they are working! Our alarm went off Thursday at 4am. We thought it was the battery. When we checked the alarm, it was flashing EVACUATE!! We called the MV Fire Dept, they came out and used their special equipment and tested the house. Most rooms of the house were double the levels at which you should...
Bachelorette is wearing my jewelry!!
It’s been an exciting week around here. Ashley Hebert, this season’s ‘Bachelorette’, has been seen wearing my 18K gold Lotus pendant all over town. First on Jimmy Kimmel Live, then on Access Hollywood, as well as mentioned on Possessionista.com http://jewelrysarah.com/tnk1g1w-lotus-pendant-18kgold-diamond.html This all happened thanks to my good friend Lisa Hanson, of...
Baby Mama Jams: MIA →
lilhanson: You know that feeling when you’re on a treadmill and you start running just a wee tad too fast. Then you trip over your feet and eat s*it. That’s how our lil’ fam feels right now. We need to slow down. I am in the midst of doing product placement on the new J. Lo and Marc Anthony spin-off to American Idol, doing PR for a couple of different jewelry lines, teaching SPINNING, AND...
My friend’s gorgeous wedding! Check out the beautiful jewelry!! Thank you Maegan for choosing me to design for your special day! http://jewelrysarah.com/
Both the dog and Grayson run to the window everyday to see if daddy is coming home. Yesterday Grayson was so excited, he starts saying daddy, dadda & pounding his wooden cylinder against the glass. But as I try to take it away, he has a death grip on it, and won’t let go. He’s holding on so tight, that I start laughing ridiculously. Ahh, my boy… so stong willed.
